Max

Max was found on the streets in a terrible state. His face, lips, and mouth were covered in painful warts caused by papillomavirus, leaving him unable to eat or drink. After two surgeries and weeks of dedicated care, Max made a full recovery. He was also neutered and vaccinated - and with his health restored, his cheeky, bouncy personality finally had a chance to shine.

Today, this sweet boy is happy, healthy, and finally living the life he deserves.

Georgy

Little Georgy was rescued from the streets with a severe open wound to his neck - a significant area of skin was missing entirely. It was a distressing sight, but the veterinary team knew there was hope. With urgent surgery and several months of careful treatment, Georgy began to heal. Slowly but surely, this resilient little cat grew stronger.

Now fully recovered, Georgy is a happy boy with a new lease on life!

Tommy

When poor Tommy was living on the streets of Penang Island he became entangled in a wild animal trap and lost part of his leg. His injury was so severe that he needed an emergency amputation to relieve his pain and save his life. But this brave boy didn’t let that stop him.

With the help of our team Tommy made an incredible recovery and soon mastered life on three legs. Once he was fully healed, neutered, and vaccinated, he was ready to begin his next chapter. It wasn’t long before his happy ending arrived! A wonderful lady from Germany - who had been volunteering with IAPWA Penang for two years - fell in love with Tommy and decided to make him part of her family.

Tommy is now living his best life in Germany surrounded by love, comfort and kindness.
