Our impact goes far beyond the figures. Behind every number is an animal whose life has been transformed, like the dogs and cats below.

    Nicolas

    Among the carnage of a tropical storm in the Philippines, tiny Nicolas was found taking shelter alone in the stump of a coconut tree. He was severely malnourished and suffering from mange.

    Nicolas was rescued and given immediate veterinary treatment and ongoing care. Over time he made a full physical and mental recovery, and is now absolutely thriving in the care of his adoptive family who can’t imagine a life without him in it.

    Georgy

    Little Georgy was rescued from the streets with a severe open wound to his neck - a significant area of skin was missing entirely. It was a distressing sight, but the veterinary team knew there was hope.

    With urgent surgery and several months of careful treatment, Georgy began to heal. Slowly but surely, this resilient little cat grew stronger. Now fully recovered, Georgy is a happy boy with a new lease on life.

    Finn

    Finn was rescued as a stray from the streets of Penang Island with painful tumours covering his face and body. It was an incredibly sad sight to see, and our team were desperate to help him.

    After lots of veterinary treatment supported by our incredible donors, this brave boy made a full recovery! He was quickly adopted by a loving family who have since adopted a second dog from us, giving Finn a new sibling and an even more magical life ahead.

    Simba

    A small shop in Tangier that acted as a refuge for local strays caught fire. Devastatingly, over 30 animals lost their lives and even more were injured.

    Among the causalities was Simba the cat. He had suffered severe burns from head to tail, as well as internal damage from toxic smoke.

    The weeks of treatment that followed were long and uncertain, but slowly he began to recover from his injuries. Today the shop has been rebuilt and Simba is back where he belongs - surrounded by his furry friends and the people who love him.
