Olive

Olive was found struggling on the streets in Romania. Her story was seen by one of our volunteers, Susie, who fell in love with her. Our Ambassador Dan, then drove from the UK to Romania to meet her and bring her back to her forever home where she has an amazing life with Susie and her 3 cats.

Louis

Louis was rescued by IAPWA Founder, Nicky in Borneo. He was found at just a few months old, cowering on a rubbish dump, alone and terrified. After taking him back to our facility he transformed into a happy, confident puppy and flew back to the UK with Nicky to live with her and Summer, her rescue cat.

Kratu

Kratu was found in a Romanian gypsy camp but now lives with Tess in our Volunteer team. He is now a Pets as Therapy dog and also his owners assistance dog. He has won ‘Best in Show’ in many dog shows and has since travelled back to Romania to raise awareness to help other dogs in need.

Romana

Romana was rescued living near a railway in Romania and taken to Centre of Hope where we met her in 2017 with Mary Burgess, Founder of the Animal Star Awards. After meeting Romana, Mary fell in love with her and arranged for her to come and live with her and her other dog Gracie Lou in the UK.

Through our 2017 Romanian fundraising challenge, one of our Volunteers Yvonne, decided to adopt a dog from Romania to give them a forever home. Layla-Danni was found in a church yard with no owner and desperately needing a home. She now has an amazing life with Yvonne and her furry brothers and sisters.

Toto

Toto lives with our Ambassador, Annie and came into her life after being found in a church yard in Romania where he was due to be caught and killed. When Annie heard about Totos plight she offered him a forever home and together they want to make a big difference for dogs in Romania.

Noa

Noa

We first met Noa at a sanctuary who we had supported within one of our neutering campaigns. One of our Volunteers, Marielle had been looking for a very special dog to join her family and after seeing her photo Noa arrived in the Netherlands shortly after where she now has an amazing life with her new family.
